I am a professional photographer. I ordered 2 books of my work and was horrified to find out they Now OWN all my uploaded work.

There is no excuse for this. Most sites with integrity and honor are not going to steal your pictures personal or professional just for using their service.

Product or Service Mentioned: Mixbook Customer Care.

Reason of review: They calim ownership of your property ..

Preferred solution: Delete all my uploaded work never to use it ever!.

While this is true of Mixbook it's also true of every major photo product company. It appears to be standard language in the terms for Shutterfly, Snapfish and others too.

to Overblown #1573504

Yea.....They steal your intellectual property and that's overblown. Tell that to any person who enjoys their photography even just as a hobby. There is NO reason to have that language in there unless you are a thief !

This is terrible. These people are providing a service which customers are paying good money for only to have their images collected, stored and potentially used by this company. This is unacceptable.

I doubled checked this, and sure enough in their Terms of Service Mixbook takes full rights to your pictures...
